What is canoe club management software?
Canoe and kayak club management software is the system a paddling club uses to run its kit store, sessions and members together: which boats and paddles are out, who is coaching Tuesday, who is signed up for the weekend trip and who has paid their subs. Paddling clubs are harder to fit into generic software than most, because one club often runs several disciplines that barely resemble each other.
Nothing leaves the store on its own
A paddler takes a boat, a paddle and a buoyancy aid, and the session cannot run if any one of the three is missing. Kit booked item by item is how clubs end up with six boats out and four buoyancy aids left on the peg.

Any club platform will hold your members and take your subs. These are the parts clubs end up running in a spreadsheet alongside it.
One club, several different sports
Slalom, sprint, polo, touring and white water sit under one membership. They need different kit, different coaching and different sessions, and lumping them into one calendar helps nobody.
Kit is boats, paddles, buoyancy aids and spraydecks
A paddler does not book one item, they take a set. Booking a kayak without the paddle and buoyancy aid that go with it is only half the job.
Club boats and private boats sit side by side
Members buy their own boats but still keep them in the club store. Space in the racks becomes something the club has to allocate and charge for.
Water conditions decide who is allowed out
River levels and grades change what is safe and who is competent to paddle it. A session that runs at one level gets called off at another.
Coaching qualifications gate the session
Sessions need a coach with the right award and the right safety cover for the water being used. Without that, the session cannot legitimately run.
Trips are their own kind of event
A day on a river away from the club means transport, kit lists, shuttle drivers and a plan someone left with. That is not the same shape as a Tuesday evening session.

There is no published canoe and kayak case study yet, and we are not going to invent one. What we can point at is the engine underneath. RowHQ runs Oundle Town Rowing Club day to day, with real members, real money and real race entries going through it.
KanuHQ is a different sport on the same foundation, built by the same people. It is in build, and founding clubs get a direct line to the people writing it.
