What is canoe club management software?
Canoe and kayak club management software is the shared system for boats, paddles, buoyancy aids, sessions, coaching, trips and members. It keeps different paddling disciplines organised without splitting the club record. For a Canoe Racing New Zealand club, it can place water conditions beside the session and the right qualification beside the coach. KanuHQ will also cover private craft stored among club boats and complete kit-set booking. It is being built for these jobs now and should not be treated as a launched product.
Current safety information on the bank
The phone screen comes from the KanuHQ build running a demo club. It shows safety packs, risk assessments, emergency plans and a live conditions advisory. It is a picture of the product in development, not a live club claim. Leaders can see how the same core records will be available away from a desk.

What canoe and kayak asks for that generic club software does not do
Any club platform will hold your members and take your subs. These are the parts clubs end up running in a spreadsheet alongside it.
Keep varied paddling under one roof
A club may run sprint, touring, polo, white water and slalom for the same membership. Each has different sessions, coaches and kit. The software needs shared records without making every programme look identical.
Reserve the boat with its matching kit
A paddler takes more than a hull. The paddle, buoyancy aid and sometimes spraydeck need to be available too. Grouping them in the booking catches a shortage while the member can still change plans.
Use one store list for all boats
Private craft and club equipment often share rack space. The committee needs to allocate places and keep ownership clear. Connecting each private boat to its member makes the storage record useful for charges and availability.
Make conditions part of every session
Water level and grade affect the competence needed on the day. A planned activity can be suitable at one level and cancelled at another. Leaders need the condition displayed where attendance and the final decision sit.
Only schedule suitable coaching cover
Each type of water and paddling needs the right coaching award and safety cover. Those records should shape the session before members sign up. KanuHQ is being designed to connect people, qualifications and activities.
Keep away-day details on the trip
A river trip needs transport, equipment lists, shuttle drivers and a plan left with someone. The organiser should not rebuild those details in messages. A trip gets its own record rather than pretending to be Tuesday training.

Who is behind KanuHQ
There is no published canoe and kayak case study yet, and we are not going to invent one. What we can point at is the engine underneath. RowHQ runs Oundle Town Rowing Club day to day, with real members, real money and real race entries going through it.
KanuHQ is a different sport on the same foundation, built by the same people. It is in build, and founding clubs get a direct line to the people writing it.
Questions about canoe club management software
What is canoe and kayak club management software in New Zealand?
It is one place for equipment, session sign-ups, trips, coaching qualifications, members and subs. A Canoe Racing New Zealand club can replace the kit store book, social posts and spreadsheets. KanuHQ is being built to organise several disciplines and connect each session to its water conditions and suitable leaders. It has not launched.
What will KanuHQ cost in New Zealand?
The app is still in build. Published pricing starts free for fewer than 21 active members. The 21 to 30 band costs NZ$33 monthly excluding GST, and the 251 to 300 band is NZ$245. Every band includes every feature. KanuHQ takes no transaction fee, while Stripe pays member cards into the club's own account.
Can KanuHQ hold police vetting records?
The planned member area can hold relevant safeguarding information. Police vetting is requested by an approved organisation and contributes to the safety check for a children's worker. Police supplies information, but the club decides suitability and records that decision. KanuHQ can organise those records while responsibility remains with the committee.
Will the calendar fit a southern summer?
Yes. Clubs choose their session and trip dates, so the programme can centre on the roughly October to March season. Separate disciplines can keep their own schedules within the same membership. There is no need to bend New Zealand club activity around a northern summer template.
Does KanuHQ already work in clubs?
No. KanuHQ is in build and has no public launch date. The images show a demo club running the developing product. Registering interest costs nothing, creates no commitment and puts the club in line for early access. Interested clubs can also help decide which requirements receive attention first.
What if a paddling club cannot stretch to the subscription?
New Zealand clubs are well served here. Tu Manawa Active Aotearoa funds programmes for young people, and gaming trusts such as the New Zealand Community Trust fund kit and operations. A club under 21 active members pays nothing anyway, and annual billing at ten months keeps the paid bands manageable.
