Collect subscriptions before summer fills

The incorporated society needs a clear payment position as its October to March season starts. Members can pay by card through the club's own Stripe account, while transfers remain on the same record. Automatic reminders reduce manual chasing. SportsHQ takes no platform transaction fee, and exportable figures support the treasurer's accounts and GST work.

Every method meets one roster

Stripe card receipts update automatically and transfers are marked by an officer. The member's current subscription status stays clear.

Different groups keep different prices

Family, junior, senior, student and social memberships can use distinct fees. Clubs may proportion charges for people joining partway through.

Session charges sit beside subscriptions

Entries, training and social tickets can be taken through the same system. Volunteers use one familiar reconciliation view.

The platform takes no share

SportsHQ applies no transaction percentage. Stripe charges for card processing and settles the remaining amount into the club's account.

Clean data leaves when needed

The treasurer exports paid, unpaid, amounts and dates. Year-end work starts with dependable figures rather than a rebuilt spreadsheet.

The next treasurer sees everything

Payment history remains with the society through an officer change. Access transfer replaces the search for missing records and notes.

The same job in four sports

This is the bit a general platform cannot do. Same feature, shaped by what the sport actually needs.

RowHQ Membership, squad fees and regatta entries, with junior and student rates that behave differently. SailHQ Membership plus boat park and dinghy storage fees, which are what make sailing club billing awkward. KanuHQ Membership, session fees and rack space in the club store for members who own their own boats. Questions

How can a New Zealand club collect subscriptions?

Members pay online through the club's Stripe account, or officers record an accepted transfer against them. Both routes feed one current payment list. The system can then remind people whose subscription has not arrived.

Does SportsHQ deduct a percentage?

No. SportsHQ does not charge a platform transaction fee on subscriptions or event income. Stripe applies its own card processing fee and settles funds into the society's account. GST remains part of the club's normal accounting work.

Can bank transfers remain available?

Yes. The treasurer marks the transfer against the correct member and charge. It appears beside Stripe card receipts, giving officers one outstanding list. Members do not have to adopt a payment method the club has not chosen.

Is formal accounting included?

No. This feature handles subscriptions, other member charges, reminders, payment status and exports. The club's accounts still cover spending, reports and GST. Organised member income simply makes that separate work easier to complete.

What survives a treasurer change?

The incorporated society retains payment dates, amounts, unpaid items and historic exports under authorised access. A new treasurer can continue from the existing position instead of decoding files held on another volunteer's computer.
