Club funding
Irish club funding has one big national door and a set of quieter local ones. The Sports Capital and Equipment Programme is the big door: it funds most of the equipment and facility work Irish clubs ever do, in periodic rounds. The local layer, through Local Sports Partnerships and county councils, is smaller but open far more often.

Club development, participation programmes, training for volunteers and coaches. Every county has an LSP, and each runs its own local funding calendar.

National governing bodies signpost and sometimes match funding for affiliated clubs, and their development officers know the current landscape. If your club is affiliated, ask before any application round.
Tax reliefs for donations to approved sporting bodies can make a local fundraising drive worth more. Your accountant or governing body can confirm what your club qualifies for.

Any club can register on the OSCAR portal at any time, and registration is the prerequisite for applying when a Sports Capital round opens. Registered organisations are notified automatically, so registering early is free option value.
LSPs are Sport Ireland's county-level network for growing participation. For clubs they are the nearest funding and support door: small grants, volunteer and coach training, and advice on what is currently open in your county.
